Man to Man

Reaching the fullness of who God intends for you to be as a husband is realized when you allow and value the influence and input of your wife.  Since God said it was “not good for man to be alone, I will make… help for him,” the more you recognize who He is using to help you, and how, the better off you will be.  It’s likely her help will not always look or feel like help.  This is where we have to adjust our perspective and allow her input to shape us.  This doesn’t mean you become a “yes man,” or a “yes ma’am.”  It does mean you aren’t married to yourself, and you understand you don’t see or know all things.  God said, “The two shall be one.”  This means the epitomy of oneness is not found in you alone, but in both of you.
